Meet Your PBSA Team Continued from page 16 Laura Rosianu, Europe & Africa Council Manager Time with PBSA: 1.5 years as staff; previously a volunteer since 2017. Describe your role in 2-3 sentences: As the Europe & Africa Council Manager, I work closely with the Europe leadership team and other PBSA staff to bring the Council's goals to life. I help plan and coordinate our annual Summit, webinars and online events, ensuring everything runs smoothly. I'm also the go- to person for any Council-related questions, whether it's about upcoming events, getting more involved, or simply staying in the loop. What is the most unexpected skill you use in your job? Juggling (figuratively). Coordinating people, logistics, time zones and last-minute changes all at once is like keeping multiple plates spinning - it takes constant focus to prevent anything from falling. Describe your personality in three words: • Energetic • Resourceful • Results-Driven Something you loved as a child and still love now: Long walks in nature. What would your job theme song be? "The Final Countdown" – especially in the weeks leading up to the Summit! It perfectly captures the energy, the pressure and the countdown to the big day. What is the best part of your role with PBSA? Working closely with so many amazing and dedicated volunteers and staff members from around the world. It's inspiring to see how much passion they bring to the table. What is your favourite snack? Coffee. Not exactly a snack, but absolutely essential. Favourite Movie: – I don't have a favorite movie, but I love TV shows, especially The Mentalist. I've always been fascinated by how the main character reads people and approaches problems from unexpected angles. It's a great reminder that sometimes doing things a little differently, or paying closer attention, can lead to better results. l
